Product Specifications

The FM Radio Kit and Weather Station kit include a combination of through-hole electronic components and a small number of surface mounted devices (SMDs)—this bundle includes a free syringe of solder flux paste to making soldering these SMD components easier!

The Digital Clock Kit and Bluetooth Speaker Kit use only through-hole components which are more straightforward to solder.

All kits in this bundle produce useful electronic devices that have user adjustable features. Please refer to the individual product pages (links to each product in this bundle are in the next dropdown section) for more detailed specifications on each product.

Includes a 60W adjustable soldering iron (200–450ºC) with a region-specific plug (EU, UK 220V or US 110V), ideal for electronics assembly. Be sure to select the correct plug type for your region/county before placing your order.

The lead-free solder wire (0.8 mm) features a 2% rosin flux core and is tested free from hazardous heavy metals.

The solder flux paste is recommended for the SMD components in the FM Radio and Weather Station kits, which is why we chose to include it FREE with this bundle.

The Safety Glasses are lightweight, fully-adjustable to fit any head size, anti-fogging, and meet EN166, ANSI Z87.1 safety standards.

Packaging

We aim to minimize waste while protecting your order. All electronic kits are securely packaged in individual padded mailing bags containing anti-static ESD bags and/or rigid plastic boxes (depending on the product) to ensure the safety of the electronic components. An example of electronics kit packaging can be viewed HERE. Tools are generally minimally packed (e.g.: bubble-wrapped mailing bags).
