You must agree to receive promotional emails from The Science Hut to enter the draw. We currently send less than one promotional email per month; however, this could increase or decrease in the future. You can opt out of our promotional emails at any stage by clicking the Unsubscribe link in any email that you receive from us or by visiting our Privacy policy. You must enter your name and email address into the form above and submit it in order to be entered into the draw as the entrants names will be taken from this email list rather than from Facebook. If you choose to unsubscribe from our email list prior to the draw, you will also be removed from the entrants list, even if you have followed our Facebook page and shared our post.
The target number of sign-ups for this draw is when our Facebook profile has reached 500 followers. The draw will be run as soon as practicable after that target has been reached. Note that the number of entrants may be considerably overshot before the draw can take place if there is a lot of interest.
The draw will be held live on Facebook; you do not need to be in attendance at the live draw to win. We will post the date and time of the draw on our Facebook page at least 24 hours in advance. On the day of the draw, all entrants names will be taken from the entrants list and will be included in a 'Spin the wheel' type draw which will select a winner at random.
If you're lucky enough to win the draw, we'll verify from Facebook that you have followed our page and shared the post on your page on the same date as you entered the draw. If the initial winner is disqualified due to not meeting the specified Facebook requirements, a new draw will be conducted until a winner who fulfills all conditions is found. The winner will be notified on our Facebook page after the draw and will also be notified via their submitted email address.
The prize will be shipped directly to the winner with postage and packing included free. You must be willing to share your postal address in order to receive the prize. Your shipping information will only be used for the purpose of sending your prize.
